~ as he solemnizes a longstanding union amidst inauguration of committees
An all encompassing Sunday Worship Service today, which embraced; thanksgiving session of previously wedded couple, inauguration of a media team as well as church project committee, solemnization of matrimony between Imabong Eno Udo and Sunday Ndiong Esu, kick started , with an in-turn procession of yet-to-be wedded celebrants in a longstanding union , alongside their bridal entourage, into the church auditorium at The Apostolic Church Great Cobb road District , Eket Field, Akwa Ibom Territory.
Resident Minister, Pastor Emmanuel Inyangudoh,JP who began his sermon by laying a premise of mysteries in God’s potency as COVID-19 ravaged the world says; 2020 is a year that made the economy of the world to stand still, many people who never knew God accepted God, people who were fond of traveling around the world stayed back in their country, the rich who were trapped in the pandemic couldn’t save their lives with their money, many became impoverished while some were made millionaires, whereby resulting to the making of every mortal equal.
With scriptural references to Exodus 14:10 and Isaiah 40:28, the preacher , who stressed on the theme ” Your waiting time is over” said that; our lives could be likened to pages of a book flipped through , but unto other pages unknown, till it gets to the last leaflet; depicting that we do not know what the future holds for us, as our destinies are yet to be unfolded, hence the need not to give up on God of eleventh hour with patience in a right attitude.
Prior to religious nuptial rites and solemnization of a longstanding union of two celebrants officiated by the Resident Pastor but blessed by a Guest Minister Pastor (Barr.) Charles Henry; there was a formal inauguration of the church project committee, with Elder Samuel Edem as well as the media team with Mary Akpan as an added member.
Highpoint of the Service was acknowledgement of well attended guests amongst whom were a yearly visiting Pastor from Lawna Territory, Pastor Kingsley O.Sampson and Guest Minister, Pastor (Barr.) Charles Henry from TAC ObotmfonAbasi District.
An event which had other exciting sessions of worship and praises, choir rendition, special offering and thanksgiving ended with a show of gratitude to God for the success of the wedding as the couple gave dance offering around the auditorium amidst jubilation among friends.
